Welcome to Hung Vuong Institute, Inc., the place where lifelong skills and friendships are reinforced.  As you begin a new journey into Martial Arts or the After School Program, I would like to share with you a few thoughts and experiences.  Over the course of thirty one years, Hung Vuong Institute has trained numerous local, national, and international champions of Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Wushu, and Tai Chi.  Besides martial arts, the staff of Hung Vuong also advises and guides students of all ages to become a successful member of society.

     Here at Hung Vuong Institute, we stay true to the martial arts traditions.  The priceless martial arts training offered at our school resonates in every aspect of an individual's daily life-- whether it be at home, school, work, the institute, or society.  With a strong emphasis on character-building, we promote respect for all as well as cultivating leadership skills.  However, the responsibility rests in you, the student, to determine how hard you will train or how well you shall academically excel in your daily life.  As a new student, you are also responsible for knowing the Institute's rules, regulations, and the curriculum for all rank levels in the program.  The Hung Vuong staff works to foster strong virtuous values and morals while also stressing the importance of family. 

     The decision of joining Hung Vuong Institute, Inc.'s can be viewed as an investment in lifelong health, skills, and knowledge.  I hope everything you learn at Hung Vuong Institute will not only make you a better person, but will also enable you to make a difference in the human race.  We, at Hung Vuong Institute, Inc., also encourage the cultivation of strong family values and morals.  The training you receive and the knowledge you acquire will undoubtedly result in a brighter future for you, your family, and our community.

     Hung Vuong is a place to begin lifelong friendships.  If you take a moment to contemplate, this world that we live in is very small.  Everyone knows everyone else.  So, you should treat and respect others as you would like to be treated and respected.  Since we are one big family, you should take care of and look after one another, and the more involved you become, the better the Hung Vuong family will be.  When you help someone, keep in mind the saying: "Giving is better than receiving."

     In the end, remember that this is the time to start building up your health, discipline, confidence, education, and leadership to bring forth future benefits.  The advice that I give you and urge you to take is to make the most of the opportunities that Hung Vuong Institute, Inc. has to offer to you.  The training you receive and the knowledge you acquire will undoubtedly result in a brighter future for you and all those around you.  Remember, all of the staff at Hung Vuong will do all that we can to make your time here with us one of the best experiences of your life.  Get ready to learn skills, make memories, and have fun!
